Matt Raine is in his first year as the athletic department's graduate assistant in 2017-18.
Raine comes to Curry having served in multiple internships, highlighted by his stint in the athletic department at Harvard University, where he worked alongside the marketing manager to drive and manage sponsorship sales, ticket sales, and execution of in-game promotions for all 41 of the Crimson varsity teams.
Raine, a Miami, Florida native, assisted with the Fanatics MLB All-Star Fan Fest as a Sales Representative. In this role, he managed the sales of MLB All Star Merchandise, improved the customers buying experience, and aided in restocking and pricing of all merchandise. His other previous stops also include serving as an intramural referee for the Colleges of the Fenway, a Digital Marketing Intern at Charles River Laboratories, a Swim Instructor at Westminster Christian School, and a Kid’s Golf Instructor at the Palmetto Golf Course in Miami. Additionally, Raine has volunteer experience with Relay For Life and the Special Olympics.
Raine is a 2017 graduate of Emmanuel College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management with a concentration in Sport Management, where he was a member of the Saints’ basketball team from 2013 through 2017.
