KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Soccer Coaches Athletic Association (NSCAA) released their 2015-16 College Team Academic Award winners and for the second year in a row the Curry College Men's Soccer team was one of 326 men's teams recognized across all NCAA divisions.

The NSCAA annually recognizes college and high school soccer programs that have excelled in the classroom, in addition to their work on the field. A total of 918 soccer teams (326 men, 592 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA College Team Academic Award for the 2015-16 academic year.

Curry as a team posted a 3.20 grade point average in the 2015-16 academic year.

In addition, the Colonels placed eight student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference Fall Academic All-Conference Team. The Academic All-Conference honor rewards varsity student-athletes who attain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 and are above first year academic standing.
