MILTON, Mass. - Curry College senior guard Kylie Beltz (Pequot Lakes, Minn.) was named as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week for the week of January 5-11.
Beltz averaged 19.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.3 steals per game as the Colonels captured three wins and became the first CCC women's team to improve to 6-0 in conference play this season.
Her top performance was a career-high 30 points to go with eight rebounds and four assists in Curry's impressive 73-53 road victory at Endicott. Beltz also added 23 points, five rebounds, four steals and two assists in a 59-31 triumph over Gordon. She opened the week with six points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals in limited action during a 61-57 win at Nichols. For the week, Beltz shot 48% (21-of-44) from the field, 38% (6-of-16) from three-point range and 61% from the line (11-of-18).
