Pre-Season Coaches' Poll Predicts First-Place Finish For Baseball

MILTON, Mass. - Curry College has been picked as the favorite to win the 2010 Commonwealth Coast Conference baseball championship, it was announced by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league’s head baseball coaches.
Curry (34-7, 22-1), 2009 TCCC Regular Season Champions received eight of the 12 first-place votes in the 2010 TCCC preseason poll. Two-time Defending Champion Western New England received the remaining four first place votes and was selected as the runner-up, while Roger Williams was picked to finish third. Endicott was selected to finish fourth, while Wentworth was slotted in the fifth spot.
Teams received 12 points for every first place vote received, 11 points for second place votes, 10 points for third place votes, down to one point for a last place vote.
