Team Stats
Bridgewater, MA - The Curry baseball team fell to Bridgewater State on Wednesday 6-2, falling to 6-10 on the season. The Bears are now 16-5.
The Colonels jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the third on a Brandon Mantilla-Mercado RBI single. But the lead was short lived, as BSU scored two in the bottom of the inning. The Colonels tied it up in the fourth on a Ryan Murphy RBI single, but BSU would score four straight runs to win 6-2.
It was a bullpen game for the Colonels, as they used five pitchers, with none going three innings. Ryan Crowley was handed the loss after going 2.2 innings and allowing three hits and an earned run. He struck out three batters.
The Colonels had five hits in the game, with the lone extra base hit being a Devin Grove double.
