Wenham, MA - The Curry baseball team fell to Gordon for the second time this year, losing 9-4 on Tuesday. The Colonels are now 6-21 on the season, and 4-9 in CNE play. The Fighting Scots are now 12-19 and 5-8.
Gordon built an early lead, scoring three times in the first, once in the second, and twice in the third, going up 6-0. They added another in the fifth before the Colonels got on the board in the seventh on an error. Gordon then added two more runs in the eight to make it 9-1. The Colonels would score three runs in the ninth on an Anthony Figueroa single.
The Colonels had nine hits in the game, with Figueroa having two. The only extra base hit was an Aaron Siegal double.
Starter Kyle DeBoer was handed the loss after going two innings and allowing five hits and three earned runs. Ryan Bohrman was solid in relief, going five innings and allowing seven hits and three earned runs.
Up Next - The Colonels will be right back at it on Wednesday, as they host Albertus Magnus at 3:30pm.
