2010: Started in all 10 games at tight end…Had three receptions for 59 total yards, and two kickoff returns for 11 total yards.
2009: Played in seven games as a special teams starter, and made appearances at fullback, tight end and defensive end, before suffering a neck injury…Had one rush for five yards, and one reception for 13 yards.
2008: Played in all 12 games as a special teams’ starter…Collected four total tackles (3 solo) on the season.
High School: Doherty is a 2006 graduate of Brockton High School…Played football for four years for Coach Peter Columbo and baseball for three years for Coach David Fouracre…Football honors included: Big Three All-Star and Honorable Mention All- Scholastic Offense…Team won Division I Super Bowl Championships in 2004 and 2005…Baseball honors included: Big Three All-Star…Also participated in advanced concert band.
