Mullaney Recognized as CCC Football Offensive Player of the Week
Curry College football senior quarterback Justin Mullaney (Danvers, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.
BIDDEFORD, Maine - Curry College football senior quarterback Justin Mullaney (Danvers, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.
Mullaney had arguably his strongest outing of the season on Saturday. The senior completed 14-of-21 attempts through the air for 138 yards and one touchdown, while also rushing the ball 12 times for 82 yards and a touchdown on the ground in Curry's 28-14 CCC victory over Nichols College.
Mullaney and the Colonels will look to close out the season on a positive note when they host the University of New England for Senior Day on Saturday. Kick-off is slated for 1 p.m., with the Senior Day ceremony at 12:30 p.m.
