Quinn and Aboutoui named CNE Players of the Week
Milton, MA - The CNE announced their weekly award winners, and two Curry Football players were recognized, as Montie Quinn was named the Offensive Player of the Week for the second straight week, while Omar Aboutoui was named the Special Teams Player of the Week.
Despite only playing in the first half for the second straight week, it was a historic day for Montie Quinn. The multiple time All-American ran for 214 yards on 16 attempts, and scored twice. With the two touchdowns he passed Raphael Zammit for the most rushing touchdowns in program history, now holding the record with 45. Including his lone career receiving TD from last week, and a punt return TD earlier in his career, Quinn now has 47 career TDs, trailing only Zammit, who had 55 (44 rushing, eight receiving, one punt return, and two kick return).
For Aboutoui, he converted seven of eight extra points, and racked up over 500 yards on kickoffs, including six touchbacks.
