Hartford, CT - The Curry Men's Basketball team was defeated by Hartford on Wednesday, as they lost 86-77. The Colonels are now 5-17 on the season, and 1-12 in CNE play. The Hawks are 13-10 and 7-7. The Colonels lone CNE win this season came earlier this season against the same Hartford team.
The Colonels were outscored 43-28 in the first half, putting them behind the eight ball. They would get within six points in the second half, but were unable to come all the way back.
The Colonels got strong contributions from their starters, with four of the five scoring in double-digits. Tommy Mallinson led the way with 20 points. Also scoring in double-digits was Isaiah Andino (16), Nethaniel Clemente (14), and Manny Hidalgo (10). Clemente also led the team with 14 rebounds for the double-double.
