Everett, MA - The Curry Men's Hockey team continued their winning ways on Friday, as they defeated the Wentworth Leopards 1-0. The Colonels have won 10 straight games, and are now 18-3-0 on the season, and 11-3-0 in CNE play. The Leopards fall to 6-13-2, and 4-9-1.
The lone goal of the game came just before the midway point of the second period, as Karim Gayfullin scored his seventh goal of the season, moving him into a tie with Alexander Duncan, Grady Friedman, and Killian Rowlee for the second most on the team.
The Colonels held a slight edge in both shots (25-21) and faceoffs (30-24).
Shane Soderwall posted his second straight shutout, and the seventh of the season, by making 21 saves.
Up Next - The two teams will faceoff again on Saturday in Canton at 3pm.
