Austin Brown Named CCC Defensive Player of the Week
Curry College men's lacrosse goaltender Austin Brown (Scarborough, Maine) was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference's Defensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.

BIDDEFORD, Maine - Curry College men's lacrosse goaltender Austin Brown (Scarborough, Maine) was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference's Defensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Brown backstopped Curry to a huge 7-5 victory over Gordon College to open CCC play over the weekend. Brown finished the contest with eight saves and allowed just five goals en route to the win.
Brown is Curry men's lacrosse's first CCC weekly award winner of the 2023 season.
The Colonels will return to action on Wednesday for a road trip to Norwich University. Faceoff from Northfield, Vt. is slated for 4 p.m.
