BEVERLY, Mass. - The Curry College men's soccer team suffered a 2-0 defeat to Endicott College Wednesday evening in Commonwealth Coast Conference action at Hempstead Stadium.
With the defeat, Curry drops to 6-6-3 overall on the season.
Endicott scored the only goal of the first half, taking a 1-0 lead in the 32nd minute. The Colonels were overwhelmed in the half, as the Gulls held a 17-2 shot advantage, including 8-1 in shots on goal.
The Gulls stretched their lead to two with a 55th minute marker, giving the game its final score of 2-0.
Colonel sophomore goalkeeper Brendan Cunningham (Middletown, N.Y.) took the loss between the pipes despite making a season-high eight saves.
Next up for the Colonels, they will open up Homecoming weekend by hosting the University of New England on Friday evening at 6 p.m. The contest will serve as Senior Night for the Colonels.
