Milton, MA - The New England Volleyball Conference announced their weekly award winners, and for the third time this year Nyko Whitaker has taken home the Rookie of the Week Award. 

The freshman played in four matches last week, helping the Colonels to a 3-1 record in those games. Whitaker continued his strong presence as a setter in Friday's and Saturday's matchups, providing 121 assists. He also added 13 total kills and 22 digs.

To this point, Nyko has accumulated 520 assists on the season and is fourth in the conference in assists per set average with 7.65.
