2022 Curry College Women's Cross Country Schedule

MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College Department of Athletics officially announced its 2022 men’s and women’s cross country schedule on Monday afternoon.

The schedule features seven regular season meets, culminating in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships. The schedule is identical for both the men’s program, competing in its inaugural season, and the women’s program.

The season will kick off on Saturday, September 3, as the Colonels travel to Leominster’s Doyle Conservation Area for the Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational, hosted by Fitchburg State University. The meet begins seven consecutive Saturdays in which Curry will race.

On September 10, Curry will get a preview of the conference championship meet when the teams head to Rotary Park in Biddeford, Maine for the Ron Ouellette Invitational, hosted by the University of New England. Rotary Park will be the site of the CCC Championships just seven weeks later.

After meets hosted by Gordon College (September 17), Massachusetts Maritime Academy (September 24), the Community College of Rhode Island (October 1), and Westfield State University (October 8), the Colonels will conclude their 2022 regular season on October 15 at the Suffolk Invitational at Franklin Park. Located just a mere five miles from Curry’s campus, the meet will serve as Curry’s Senior Day.

The Colonels will race for the CCC Championship on October 29 back at Rotary Park to wrap up its 2022 season.

“We are excited for the 2022 season, especially with the addition of our men's cross country team,” said head coach Darlene Gaudet. “It should be a great season for both the men's and women's teams as we continue to grow. Our team is working hard to improve upon last year and we look forward to great competition at our upcoming meets.”
