Cross Country Wraps Up Season
Hopkinton, NH - The Curry Cross Country team competed at the NCAA DIII East Region Championships on Saturday, wrapping their season up.
The men finished in 29th place, highlighted by Blaise Denson, who finished the 8k race in 102nd of 2016 racers with a time of 27:33. After him was Alex Nason in 150th at 28:59, and Linus Kiser in 168th at 29:44. Prior to this season, no one in program history had ever broken the 30 minute mark, which all three did numerous times this season. Rounding out the team was Chance Payton and Paul Alfonso with times of 33:25 and 33:52.
For the Women, two individuals raced for the Colonels in Mackenzie Husson and Laraeler Rossow. Husson finished the race in 140th of 214 racers, finishing with a time of 25:52. Rossow finished the race with a time of 33:26.
Up Next - The Cross Country season is now over, but many of the Colonels runners will be part of the inaugural outdoor track team this Spring.
