BEVERLY, Mass. - Freshman outfielder Renee Gonneville (Saco, Maine) earned her first Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week award announced on Wednesday, April 17th, by the league offices.

Gonneville enjoyed a .444 batting average in a 2-6 week for the Colonels, helping the squad to conference wins over Wentworth and Nichols. She totaled 12 hits throughout the week, including a pair of three-hit games against WIT and UNE. She also drove in four RBIs and three runs scored.

Gonneville is enjoying an exceptional rookie year with a .333 batting average, a .431 on-base percentage, and a .467 slugging percentage. She has hit one home run, has nine RBIs, and has walked 10 times.

Curry College softball returns to action on Sunday, April 21st, with a home doubleheader against Hartford.
