Game One
Both team scored in the first inning, with MMA scoring twice, and the Colonels once on a Morgan Barmash RBI double. They then tied things up on a ground out in the third. The Colonels offense then exploded, scoring five in the fifth inning. The first run came on a sacrifice bunt by Karlie Pontes, and then an error scored another. A Katie Tobin single made it 4-2, and a wild pitch added another. The big hit came from Renee Gonneville, as she tripled down the right field line, making it 7-2. The Colonels then walked the game off on a run rule mercy in the sixth, as Ana Tsonis hit a grand slam, giving the Colonels an 11-2 win.

Game Two
In a wild game that saw 19 of the 21 players on the Colonels roster play, Curry scored three runs in the first inning to grab an early lead. It all started with a lead off home run by Cailene Dupras, the first over-the-wall HR of her career. Her lone other HR was an inside-the-park variety earlier this year. The Colonels then scored on a Dabria Allardice fielder's choice, and finally a Morgan Saraceno bunt single. But MMA answered with a run in the second, and then four in the third to go up 5-3. The Colonels then inched closer with an Ana Tsonis solo homer to left field in the third. After the Buccaneers added a run in the fourth, the Colonels scored four runs in the fifth. They tied things up after an RBI single by Skylar Colburn, and an RBI double from Olivia Roy. Then Lindsay DesRoberts put the Colonels on top with a pinch hit, two run homer, giving the Colonels an 8-6 lead. The Colonels were unable to close things out though, allowing two runs in the seventh, and then four in the eighth. The Colonels would get one run in the bottom of the eighth on an Isabella Monsanto single, but it was not enough.
The Colonels had 10 hits, with Monsanto being the lone player with two.
The Colonels used four pitchers, and it was Monsanto who was handed the loss after pitching 3.1 innings in relief, and allowing seven hits and four earned runs.
Up Next - The Colonels will wrap up their season with a doubleheader at Johnson & Wales on Friday at 3pm.
