SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Curry opened its Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) schedule by dropping a 72-55 decision at Western New England University on Wednesday evening. The Colonels fell to 3-3 overall, while the Golden Bears imporved to 4-3.
Junior Kyle Beltz shared game-high scoring honors with 19 points. Classmates Jeanette Fallon and Samantha Corcoran chipped in with 13 and 10 points, respectively. Beltz and Corcoran each had six rebounds to pace Curry.
The Colonels resume play on Saturday, traveling to CCC rival Wentworth for a 1:00 p.m. contest.
