The Fighting Scots would take their first lead of the game early in the third quarter, and would go up by as many as five. But the Colonels responded with an 11-1 run to regain control. Gordon would never lead again, and the Colonels would win 63-58.
The Colonels were led on offense by Lauren Dunn, who scored 17 points, with most of her damage coming at the free throw line, where she went 9 for 11.
