BIDDEFORD, Maine - Asher Printzen (Las Vegas, Nev.), a freshman on the Curry College women's ice hockey team, has been chosen Rookie of the Week by the Commonwealth Coast Conference. The announcement came from the league office on Monday afternoon.

Printzen factored into three of Curry's four goals on Tuesday night to lift her team to a 4-1 victory over New England College. Printzen scored two goals, including the game-winner, and added an assist for three points en route to the Colonel victory.

Printzen is the first ever player from Curry women's ice hockey to receive a conference weekly award.
