Hockey Teams Receive All-Conference Recognition
Milton, MA - The CNE announced their end of the year hockey awards, and both the Curry men's and women's teams saw recognition.
On the women's side of things, Bella Mardesich was name to the conference's first team, after scoring 13 goals, the second most in the conference. Mardesich, a sophomore, is the fourth player in program history to be named to the conference's first team.
For the men, it was a pair of seniors receiving second team honors in Jesse Galassi and Gage Dill. Dill was 10th in the CNE with 24 points, scoring 11 goals, and adding 13 assists. Galassi had a career year as a defensemen, scoring totaling seven goals and 12 assists, after entering the season with just six career goals.
Galassi was named to the conference's second team in 2023-24, while Dill was named to the third team in 2022-23 and 2024-25, and the first team in 2023-24. Dill becomes just the second player in program history to be named to four all-conference teams, joining Fred Whouley (1984-1988).
In addition to the all-conference awards, both teams had a representative on the conference's community service team in Nicolas Lariviere and Sarah Kerr. This award emphasizes those student athletes who have a great impact outside of their sport, and reflects their commitment to service, leadership, and making a positive difference beyond competition.
