Women's Lacrosse Picked to Finish Fifth in TCCC Preseason Poll
Milton, Mass. - Defending Champion Endicott College has been tabbed as the favorite to win the 2009 Commonwealth Coast Conference women’s lacrosse championship, it was announced today by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league’s head women’s lacrosse coaches.
Endicott College (15-6, 10-0) received nine of 10 first-place votes in the 2009 TCCC preseason poll. Roger Williams and Western New England were picked to finish in a tie for second place, with Roger Williams picking up the one remaining first-place vote. Gordon was picked to finish fourth, while Curry was selected fifth.
Teams received 10 points for every first place vote received, nine points for second place votes, eight points for third place votes, down to one point for a last place vote. First place votes are shown in parentheses.
