Buzzards Bay, MA - The Curry Women's Volleyball team took down Mass. Maritime in four sets on Thursday, moving to 3-6 on the season, while the Buccaneers are now 3-7. The Colonels are now 16-1 all-time against the Bucs, the most wins they have against any team. The next closest is Anna Maria and Becker, who the Colonels have defeated eight times each.
The Colonels took this one 25-13, 19-25, 25-19, 25-23.
It was a balanced offensive attack for Curry, as Meghan Abbott, Emma Hobart, and Morgan Kramer each had nine kills. Both Jasmyne Fillippini (17) and Emma St. Cyr (11) had double-digit assists. Fillippini posted a double-double with 11 digs as well. Joining her with double-digit digs was Kramer (12), Faith Edgehille (11), and Sonja Matheson (10) Lauryn Gedeon made sure her presence was known at the net, as she collected four total blocks.
