Williamstown, Mass. - The Curry College women's cross country team posted a 38th place finish among 40 teams competing on Saturday at the ECAC Division III Championship.

The Colonels were led by freshman Jessica Leary (Pembroke, Mass.), who finished in 172nd  place with a time of 27:58.  Other Colonel finishers were freshman  Joyce Simon (Pembroke, Mass.), 29:38, (222nd), freshman Melanie Berube (Beverly, Mass.), 30:04, (233rd), senior Amy Comeroski (Exeter, R.I.), 31:02, (247th), and sophomore Avery Struthers (Hamden, Mass.), 31:14 (251st).

Middlebury College captured the championship in the team competition with a score of 25 points, while Williams College (40 points) and Tufts University (162 points) finished as the respective runner-up and third place squads in the event.
