MILTON, Mass. – The Curry College men's lacrosse team has finalized their 2019 spring schedule. This year the Colonels will compete in 17 games and two preseason scrimmages; NCAA Division II National Champion Merrimack College and NCAA Division II member Southern New Hampshire University.

 The first regular season contest will be a non-conference tilt at Norwich University in Northfield, Vt. on February 23. The non-conference play will continue into March as Curry will compete against first-time foes UMass Boston, Trinity College, and M.I.T. on the 2^nd, 5^th, and 7^th of the month.

During the week of spring break, the Colonels will first travel to Saratoga Springs, N.Y. to take on the Thoroughbreds of Skidmore College. After a brief stay in New York, the team will continue south to Maryland where they will play New England College on Tierney Field at the US Lacrosse Headquarters outside Baltimore. The last game of spring break will be played at home on March 17 versus Plymouth State University.

After returning from break, the Colonels will play Clark University for the first time in the regular season, in what will be the final non-conference game before the Colonels start play against Commonwealth Coast Conference opponents.

When asked about some changes to the non-conference schedule, Coach Murphy replied, "This is the strongest non-conference schedule that we have ever played. Each year we are looking to improve as a group, and what better way than continually challenging ourselves by raising the level of competition. The hope is that the teams we added to the schedule, along with the ones we kept, will better prepare us for the high level of competition in our conference."

The CCC schedule kicks off with a road game against Endicott on Saturday, March 23. The second week the Colonels will be home on Wednesday against Wentworth and on the road against Roger Williams Saturday. Curry heads right back to Rhode Island in week three of the conference slate when they play Salve Regina Tuesday, April 2. On Saturday, April 6 at 10:00 a.m. the Curry men's lacrosse alumni game will be held before the women and men's conference games versus Gordon College.

The last three conference regular-season games see the Colonels at home for two, against the University of New England (4/10) and Western New England University (4/16), and on the road for one against Nichols College (4/13).  

The regular season will wrap up for the Colonels in a non-league game on Friday, April 19 when they host Johnson and Wales at 7:00 p.m.
