Amherst, MA - The Curry Women's Hockey team fell in a non-conference matchup with the fourth ranked team in the country, Amherst. The Mammoths won 5-0, pushing the Colonels to 4-7-1 on the season.
After a scoreless first period, the Mammoths scored three times in the second, all in the first eight minutes. They would then add two more goals in the third.
The Mammoths outshot the Colonels 47-13, and won 30 faceoffs to the Colonels' 10.
Curry goalie Sarah Kerr made 42 saves.
Up next - The Colonels will return to CNE play on Tuesday when they host WNE at 7pm.
