SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Senior Shea Mathews (Concord, N.H.) of the Curry College women's volleyball team has been named as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Libero of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Mathews was a standout defensive force in the Colonels' 3-0 week as she averaged nearly six digs per set. She recorded at least 20 digs in each of the three matches, starting with 20 pickups in a 3-0 sweep of Mass. Maritime. She followed that up with 23 digs in a four-set win over Emmanuel, then a 28-dig performance in a five-set victory over Husson. She averaged 5.92 digs per set, while also contributing four assists and eight aces on the week.

Mathews and Curry (5-3 overall) return to action on Tuesday, September 17 at Becker at 7:00 p.m.
