Abdiel was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts and is majoring in Biology (Pre-Med) at Curry...is the son of Olman Ixlaj and Noelia Cardona...has four siblings: Josias, Nathaniel, Junior, and Karen...chose Curry to prove that anything is possible if you put your mind to it...favorite spot on campus is the Stu.

Abdiel is a 2022 graduate of Greater Lawrence Technical High School in Lawrence, Massachusetts...he competed in 4 years of volleyball for the Bears and was a CAC Champion and Libero of the Year
