Personal:
Jett was born in Frisco, Texas...he is majoring in Finance with a minor in Business at Curry...the son of Matt and Penny Otwell and has three siblings: Ava (19), Max (16), and Griffin (14)...chose Curry because it was the best fit both academically and athletically...Fun fact — his mother finished fifth on the TV show Survivor, and his father played football at Texas Tech

Before Curry:
Otwell graduated from Bishop Kearney High School in Rochester, New York, where he was a three-time New York State Champion and helped his team to third- and fourth-place finishes at the national level...he previously played for the Elmira Aviators in the NAHL
